The European Commission wants to end anonymity in crypto and establish new anti-money laundry agency measures to crackdown on proceeds from crime. Recently, the scale of the money laundering problem within the European Union was highlighted by new of roughly 1% of the EU’s economic activity involving suspicious transactions.
