CoinSwitch Kuber, an India-based cryptocurrency exchange, recently raised $260M in a Series C round. The round was led by new investors Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Coinbase Ventures along with existing investors Paradigm, Ribbit Capital, Sequoia Capital India, and Tiger Global. Andreessen Horowitz’s investment is notable given it is their “first general” investment in India. CoinSwitch is now valued at $1.9B.
