Mindbody, a technology platform for booking exercise classes, entered into an agreement to acquire Classplass, a monthly subscription service for fitness and wellness experiences. The acquisition agreement comes in conjunction with a $500M investment intended to fund company growth. ClassPass’ January 2020 valuation was estimated at $1B when the company received a $285M investment from L Catterton, Apax Digital and Temasek Holdings Pte.
