MFS Africa, Africa’s largest digital payments network, recently announced a raise of $100M, split between $70M in equity and $30M in debt. The round was co-led by private fund AfricInvest Five with participation from existing investors Goodwell Investments and LUN Partners Group. Other participants in the round included new investors CommerzVentures, Allan Gray Ventures, Endeavor Catalyst, Endeavor Harvest, and ShoreCap II.
