Lilt, a company that provides AI-driven business translation software, announced it has raised $55 million in Series C funding, bringing its total funding to $92.5 million. The new funding round was led by Four Rivers Group with participation from Sorenson Capital, Clear Ventures, Ventures – Wipro, Sequoia Capital, Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, and XSeed Capital. The company hopes to increase its research and product development, international footprint, and personnel. The company’s business focus has shifted to Global Experience, a new means of building and distributing multilingual experiences at every stage of the consumer journey. Since securing its Series B funding in May 2020, Lilt has added a number of supporting products and services, been recognized on the Forbes AI 50 list, secured a wide variety of new enterprise and startup customers, and more. Lilt is the first firm that uses predictive, adaptive human-in-the-loop technology and AI applications to provide scalable enterprise translations, allowing businesses to provide a comprehensive, seamless experience to all their customers.
