Lemonero, Prague’s AI-driven embedded financing platform for e-commerce, has raised US$12 million in funding. The $12 million received is a combination of equity and debt. Komerční banka led the funding with participation from Societe Generale . The funding will allow the company to grow into Western and Eastern Europe as well as create new services. The company intends to begin operations in France, followed by the Netherlands. E-commerce, marketplaces and payment service providers can use the startup’s digital lending solution that will allow merchants to take advantage of low-cost, flexible revenue-based financing to expand their business from within the partner ecosystem.
