Finli is a mobile-first payment management system for service companies to send invoices, look up customer information, and check on payment status in between gigs. Within minutes, users may create an account and submit their first invoice by email or SMS text, and all client info can be stored and managed in their proprietary CRM portal. Owners can still accept payments by cash and checks, but now payments are instantly reconciled in the application, and collections are managed by sending out automatic emails and texts. Finli closed on $6 million in seed funding to build its team and carry out its business banking feature development. The seed round was led by the Urban Innovation Fund, and included Motley Fool Ventures, M13, Alumni Ventures and existing investors MaC Venture Capital, Slauson & Co., Core Innovation Capital, Techstars, and Muse Capital.
