Bradesco, a Brazilian financial services company, has acquired Mexico’s Ictineo in an effort to provide digital accounts in the second-largest economy in Latin America. According to Bradesco, the purchase would enable the bank to expand into retail banking, where it will provide digital accounts, payroll loans, and investment accounts. Bradesco intends to add mortgages and auto loans to the list of products after the initial implementation phase.
