JPMorgan Chase is thinking about investing in Yapily, the open banking, fintech, and data aggregation platform. As its acquisition of finAPI, a German company that offers open banking solutions, draws near, Yapily is looking to bring in additional capital. Yapily’s core product is an API for open banking, a technology that gives software developers the infrastructure to establish payment services and communicate data among multiple financial institutions. Any investment by JPMorgan seeks not to conflict with any other of JPM’s recent fintech investments and partnerships.
