Stripe, the high-flying payments startup with plans to go public within the next 12 months, has expanded its partnership with e-commerce giant Amazon. Stripe will become a preferred payments partner for having successfully handled a “substantial” share of the e-commerce giant’s overall payments volume across all of its companies, including Amazon Prime, Audible, Kindle, Amazon Pay, and Buy With Prime. The partnership will also see Stripe expanding its dependency on Amazon Web Services for its cloud computing infrastructure.
