JOKR, the Berlin-based online grocery delivery company, has secured approximately $50 million in Series D financing, valuing the company at $800 million. Despite a decrease in valuation from its previous round, JOKR’s CEO, Ralf Wenzel, stated that the lower mark is simply a reflection of changing market conditions. Convivialité Ventures led the round, and JOKR plans to use the capital to continue developing its grocery offerings and expand in existing metropolitan areas, potentially re-entering some Latin American markets it previously exited.
