Uber has introduced a new feature to its Uber Connect service that allows users to request an Uber driver to pick up and drop off return e-commerce packages at local post offices, FedEx, or UPS locations. This initiative aims to simplify the often frustrating process of returning online purchases, which many consumers find “more bothersome than sitting in traffic”. Packages sent through Uber must be valued at under $100 and weigh less than 30 pounds. The cost for the service (for now) will be a flat fee of $5, with Uber One members being eligible for a discount.
