Advent International, a private equity firm that manages three private equity investment programs focused on established and developing markets worldwide, is set to acquire UK-based payments firm myPOS for an estimated 500 million euros ($542.15 million). The acquisition, facilitated through a new vehicle called Circle, is part of Advent’s strategic expansion into the digital payments sector. Despite current market conditions, Advent plans to further strengthen its presence in the industry through additional acquisitions.
