Beyond, the parent company of Bed Bath & Beyond and Overstock, has acquired the online brand assets of Zulily for $4.5 million in cash, with plans to relaunch the online retailer by the end of May. Led by Marcus Lemonis of CNBC’s “The Profit,” Beyond aims to capitalize on Zulily’s reported $666 million in sales last year, focusing on the off-price market for discounted items. The acquisition marks a strategic move for Beyond to expand its offerings in furniture, home furnishings, and apparel, aligning with Lemonis’s vision to transform the company into a leader in the home goods segment.
