Fluence Technologies, a Toronto-based fintech and software startup specializing in financial close, consolidation, and reporting SaaS solutions, has agreed to be acquired by Miami-based Anaplan. Financial close and consolidation refer to the process of finalizing accounts at the end of a reporting period and merging financial data from multiple business units into a single set of financial statements, ensuring that the data is both accurate and compliant with accounting standards and regulations. The deal, expected to close in early May, will integrate Fluence’s software into Anaplan’s platform, offering new features such as financial consolidation, disclosure management, and Excel reporting to Anaplan’s customers.
