Payoneer, the New York-based fintech, has acquired Singapore-based global HR and payroll startup Skuad for $61 million in cash, with potential future earn-outs bringing the total to $81 million. Skuad, which simplifies international hiring for small-to-medium-sized businesses, will enhance Payoneer’s global payroll and contract management offerings. The acquisition aligns with Payoneer’s strategy to capture a $6 trillion B2B market share and address the growing need for scalable remote work solutions.
