Walmart Marketplace has partnered with Parafin, a financial infrastructure company specializing in embedded finance, to launch the Walmart Marketplace Capital program that offers eligible sellers seamless access to financing. The initiative allows sellers to obtain capital to grow their businesses and prepare for the upcoming holiday retail season, leveraging Parafin’s machine-learning capabilities to analyze sales data and determine offer eligibility and terms. Since its launch in 2021, Paraffin has extended over $8 billion in financing offers through platforms like Worldpay and Mindbody.
