Avid Ventures, An early-stage venture capital firm backing fintech and software companies across North America, Europe, and Israel, has closed its $87 million Fund II to invest in early-stage software and fintech startups, bringing its total capital raised to over $165 million. The firm targets investments from Seed to Series B stages, using a “Toehold/Double Down” strategy that offers flexibility in funding amounts and allows for doubling down on successful portfolio companies. Led by managing partner Addie Lerner, Avid Ventures supports founders with hands-on guidance in strategic finance, business development, and scaling operations. Fund II has already made five initial investments across diverse sectors, such as payments and data analytics.
