Grupo Integrado, a Brazilian university operator, has launched a corporate venture capital (CVC) fund in partnership with accelerator Founders Club to invest in startups advancing education technology. The CVC’s first investment will be in open banking platform Baasic, where Grupo Integrado also secured a board seat to provide strategic guidance. With plans to invest in two to three more startups this year, the initiative aims to foster innovation in educational models through targeted investments and mentorship support.
