Firenze, a wealthtech and global payments enablement and software company, has secured £160 million in funding from Monument Bank to expand its Lombard loan offerings, which allow wealth management clients to access liquidity without liquidating their investment assets. The firm, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Atomico, Ada Ventures, and Lakestar, aims to democratize Lombard lending with an embedded finance solution for wealth managers, brokers, and investment platforms.
