Rain, a Santa Monica-based financial wellness and earned wage access (EWA) platform, has raised $75 million in Series B. Led by Prosus, Rain will use the funds to expand its reach across the U.S. and enhance its suite of employee financial tools. Since its 2019 launch, Rain has helped over 2.5 million workers access over $2 billion in earned wages, reducing reliance on predatory lending by enabling early wage access through seamless HR software integrations. The platform plans to expand into savings, credit, and communication tools later this year.
