Axio, a startup in cybersecurity risk management, announced today that it has raised $25 million in new capital to advance its aim of enabling security and business executives to identify and address the cyber threats that most directly impact their enterprises. The Series B investment was led by ISTARI Global, with participation from preexisting investors NFP Ventures and IA Capital Group. Axio has already secured $30 million in funding, including a Series A round in June 2020. Axio states its software offers organizations a comprehensive picture of potential risks and how to protect against them. It also evaluates and recommends balance sheet safeguards required to backstop cyber risk.
