Sardine, a behavior-based fraud and risk management platform for fintechs, has raised $51.5 million in a Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz’s growth fund. Numerous well-known investors participated in the round, including XYZ, NYCA Partners, Sound Ventures, Activant Capital, Visa, Google Ventures, and more. Based on the user’s identification, device, and behavior patterns at the time of account initiation and account funding, Sardine’s core technology employs AI to deliver a real-time fraud score.
