Smile Identity, an anti-fraud ID verification and KYC compliance company received $20 million in a Series B. The company’s technology aggregates and crosschecks data from identity verification, digital KYC, user onboarding, liveness checks, biometric face verification, document verification and identity data deduplication. This round was co-led by Silicon Valley investor Costanoa Ventures and the Africa-focused venture capital firm Norrsken22.
