E-commerce megacap Amazon announced a new partnership with Banco Bradesco S.A. to launch and issue its own credit card in Brazil, expanding its fintech services. The card will be managed by the bank and is set to launch next Tuesday. With interest rates continuing to decline and the Brazilian government’s consumption-boosting programs actively at work, Amazon aims to capture more consumer payments activity with this move.
