Robinhood, the investment platform offering commission-free trading of stocks, is acquiring the AI-powered investment research platform Pluto Capital to enhance its data analytics, investment strategies, and portfolio optimization capabilities. Pluto founder Jacob Sansbury will be joining Robinhood to aid in the technology integration. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
