Richmond-based proptech REI Hub, a landlord-focused accounting software company, has been acquired by TurboTenant, a Colorado-based property management software provider, to expand its offerings and customer reach. The acquisition builds on an existing partnership in which TurboTenant resold REI Hub’s software to complement its tenant screening and rent collection services, accounting for 25% of REI Hub’s business prior to the deal announcement. REI Hub will retain its branding, headquarters, and team while leveraging TurboTenant’s 700,000-strong client base to broaden its impact on landlords managing up to 10 rental properties.
