Marqeta, a card-issuing platform, recently announced a partnership agreement with financial data network Plaid. The intention of the partnership is to simply ACH transfers, therefore easing the difficulty in customer authentication and account access. Marqeta customers will now be able to transfer money between customer and external accounts and be better informed about the status of fund transfers. The news comes as Marqeta announced certifications to operate in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, signifying geographic expansion.
