Infinity Ventures, a global venture capital firm for early stage investment in fintech, commerce and software, has launched with contributions from PayPal Ventures alumni Jeremy Jonker, Jay Ganatra and Mario Ruiz. The trio raised $158 million to focus on financial infrastructure and commerce enablement. With an average check size of $500,000 to $8 million, Infinity Ventures aims to invest in 25 firms. The three said they are emphasizing earlier stage investments, such as pre-seed and seed investments, due to current market conditions.
