Accenture, a global management company specializing in IT, acquired Allgemeines Rechenzentrum GmbH (ARZ). ARZ is an Austrian technological service company with a focus on the banking industry. The acquisition of ARZ by Accenture will enable the global IT consulting firm to grow its banking platform-as-a-service capabilities throughout Europe. Accenture’s existing cloud-based banking PaaS offerings, which includes everything from core banking to online banking and regulatory services will be expanded as a result of the acquisition.
